In the wake of the 2016 Election the townspeople approved the roundabout articles, and the Boothbay Board of Selectmen discussed moving forward with the business partnership agreement between the Maine Department of Transportation and the private developer, Paul Coulombe. The Selectmen also discussed the forming of a public committee to oversee the finer details of the roundabout design, signage and landscaping and aesthetics.
