Every year the tall ships of coastal Maine sail into the Boothbay region, bringing the traditions of maritime history to life. To honor the occasion, the Friends of Windjammer Days invite the captains and crew to enjoy a Maine clambake out on Cabbage Island. This flagship celebration has continued for more than 50 years in the midcoast, with hopes that the fleet will keep the wind in its sails for many more summers to come.
