Recently the BRCTV production team took a break from flying drones and filming all over the region to take a look back at what shaped us into who we are today.
Many locals might have fond memories from broadcasts past. The Fishermen's Festival, Gold Ball Games, The Bet Show, and those 24 hour live telethons.
So we decided to take a walk down memory lane and produce a video looking back at some of our favorite moments from our archives.
We dusted off the old VHS tapes unaware of exactly what we would find.
And the footage was incredible!
We had so much fun going through this treasure trove of tapes that we've decided we will feature a lot more of our old programming on our channel from here on out. We also want to make a commitment to convert all of our tapes to be accessible right here on our website.
We're so very grateful to be part of a community that supports our mission and actively takes part in local television. We hope you enjoy this video as much as we did making it, and we look forward to what the future holds.
This video follows us from our inception in 1995, right up to 2008. We plan to make an extended cut with our most modern footage added.
We'll keep those cameras rolling!
